Description

Mode of action

This combined product protects the plant from both the outside and the inside. It has anti-sporulant, curative, and protective properties. Captan is the name of a fungicide in the phthalimide class known as a general use pesticide (GUP). Captan works by interacting with fungi and disrupting a critical process in their life cycle. It can be toxic to a variety of fungal diseases. Captan is non-systemic, which means it cannot move within plants. Hexaconazole is a systemic conazole (imidazole) fungicide used to control a wide range of seed-borne and soil-borne diseases and fungi, primarily Ascomycetes and Basidiomycetes.
