Description
Mode of Action
Hexaconazole 75% WG is a broad-spectrum systemic triazole fungicide that works by inhibiting the biosynthesis of ergosterol, a vital component of fungal cell membranes. This disrupts the normal function of the cell membrane and eventually leads to cell death. Hexaconazole is effective against a wide range of fungi, including ascomycetes and basidiomycetes. It is used to control a variety of diseases in crops, including powdery mildew, rust, and scab.
Benefits of Hexaconazole 75% WG
- Hexaconazole inhibits the enzyme Lanosterol 14α-demethylase.
- It is a systemic fungicide, which means that it is absorbed by the plant and moves through the plant’s tissues.
- This provides long-lasting protection against fungal diseases.
